Jennifer & Jason Lifestyle Engagement on Lake Norman

I think the images should speak for themselves. What a blast! I dislike putting this in writing, but Jennifer and Jason have been one of the most fun couples I have worked with recently. We took a boat out on Lake Norman, jumped on jet skies and then headed to another location on the lake to finish up the session. Jennifer and Jason took me serious when I said we would photograph anything for their engagement photographs. All I can say is their wedding is coming up soon, so get ready for more great images.

Haithcox Eyecon Photography Lifestyle Engagement Session

Some people ask what is a lifestyle engagement session? Well, the short answer is we want to capture your lifestyle in photography! My next blog post of a lifestyle engagement session should answer most questions. Whatever hobbies or activities you and your fiancee share we want to include those elements in the images. Riding bikes, horses, motorcycles, hanging out at the beach, downtown areas, favorite restaurants, the fair or whatever aspect of your lifestyle you want to show off we will be there to capture it! These images make great wall portraits for your new home and can even be used on your save the date cards. Including the images in a hardcover book that can be used as a custom guest registry is also an awesome idea.

Emily & Phillip

Have you ever been around two people that are so in love they seem to speak their own language? Well, that couple for me is Emily & Phillip. The wedding was held in Statesville, NC with a great reception at Market on Main in Hickory, NC. Every time I would shoot an image and think it was the best of the day Emily & Phillip would come up with another idea. They were a great and creative couple to work with. Phillip is one of my former students and a photographer himself. As a matter of fact we both have work displayed in Raleigh, NC right now. I always have to put on my game face when photographing for other photographers, so Emily & Phillip I hope you love the photos as much as I loved taking them!
