Stef & Grant. Wedding at The Peacock Inn. {Newton Wedding Photographer}
The least I can say is it was a great wedding. Stef and Grant are an amazing couple with a very supportive family. There were lots of tears shed at the reception toast. The ceremony was held outside and the weather was nice. Just after the ceremony it started to rain. The timing couldn't have been more perfect. The reception was indoors and when the rain cleared we headed outside to capture some very cool late evening shots. Below are a few of my faves. Be sure to leave comments!

Stef & Grant Engagement.
WOW! That is all I can say about this couple. I have already shot their wedding which I will be blogging soon. These images were shot in Downtown Hickory. Stef & Grant are the first couple I've worked with that can pull off the big smiles look and the serious look. That allowed me to create a lot of different images with different looks and feels. Here are a few of my faves. Yes... we shot color images too, but I love black & white!
Downtown Hickory with Radio Poppers.
I had a chance to get out and work with my new Radio Poppers. Radio Poppers are a way to use your speedlight flashes off camera and still have the use of ETTL. I met up with my photographer friend Joe Young and we shot some images of South Caldwell High's "Sassy" in Downtown Hickory.
